Bay Window |
|||||||||||
Definition: A set of three individual window units, attached so as to project from the building at various angles. In a three-window bay, the center section is normally fixed, with the end panels operable as single-hung or casement windows. Bay windows are commonly used to make a room look larger than its actual size, as well as to increase the amount of natural light indoors.
